Today I finally decided to make a formal release of qtnx and nxcl, both version 0.9 as they are not tested enough to be a 1.0 release yet, especially as I made some API changes to nxcl which might have broken Seb’s nxlaunch frontend.

They’ve been tagged in freenx’s subversion at svn://svn.berlios.de/freenx/tags/freenx-client-0.9. Relevant instructions are in the README files for both subdirectories.

Debian packages should be appearing shortly courtesy of Matthew Johnson.

Nice work. I just gave it a try on gentoo, and noticed a problem: when I select a xdm session, the selection does not stick, and when connecting it uses the session type that was previously selected.

I found there was a mismatch between nxcl and freenx. In nxcl (nxsession.cpp line 308), it passed “Terminate –sessionid” to server. But freenx expect “terminate –sessionid”. I thought I had latest nxcl code. Let me know if I am wrong. Thanks.

Thank you for your work. Are you going to add a terminate button in the session list dialog box? I try to apply terminate function, but it looks like it requires some works at server side. BTW, I am using FreeNX on Ubuntu 7.10.
